The Owls run of form has been quite incredible. The only problem was United being in a similar run of form but I knew when Wednesday won away at Huddersfield that the Blades would choke eventually. And when Antonio scored his late winner the weekend before last... Magic. Delighted that Wednesday can go up but I wouldn't take Wycombe for granted - relegated teams have a habit of pulling off shock results. UTO WTID.

ya its mental, the fan feeling is unreal, I don't think promotion in 2005 even comes close to how much this means to people, such a positive feeling about the club since MM came in and cleared our debts, great chairman, genuinely cares for the club and fans, he knows we have been tormented for 10+ years, massive ballsy decision that split alot of fans sacking megson, bringing in DJ was genius, and paid off. Only 2 losses at home all season !! Im quietly confident we can do it ! we need a quick 3-0 lead after 9 minutes like we did against Bournemouth few weeks ago !

the Owls are back ! lets hope we can do the Norwich on it ! and be back where we belong soon

I admit I was annoyed at the sacking of Megson. But straight away Jones seemed like a man with a plan. I noticed he keeps cool when goals go in and just tries to calm Madine down with a "shhh"! Can't but have faith in him now - when has any other manager taken over and gone on a run of results like this? His selections have been excellent. Bringing Treacy into the team was a good move - he needed time to get fitter and JJ was getting frustrated again, so it was timed well. And I love wee Antonio, hope we can keep him. Really is an excellent squad, well worthy of promotion and much better than the squad that went up in 2005. Also - I didn't know there were Owls fans on boards! The past few weeks have been excellent. I knew Sheffield United would choke. I just couldn't be happier with the way Wednesday pushed and pushed and never gave up, but it's a marathon - need a final surge on Saturday.

Yeah, it's a bit of a long shot though. TBH I kinda accepted that we would finish in the playoff anyway even a couple a weeks ago!

Would be great if we could get up automatically cos I don't fancy the playoffs at all, but Torquay will be weary of Hereford now after their 3-0 defeat of Crawley.

As for Crawley, they'll probably end up in the playoffs too with us!!!

Living in Sheffield and I'd go if I wasn't working. I'm a Gooner but Wednesday are my second team now and I just can't warm to those blades. Would actually like to see both teams going up but hopefully Wednesday get automatic.

Saturdays gonna be awesome, and im a pessimistic tvvat.
I went to Wycombe away, men v boys for most of game.

I think its like the Chelsea Semi we have to be the 12th man, 4 sides bouncing tho is gonna be awesome.

ditto on Megson sacking, thought Mandy had made a mistake. How does that seem now, DJ unbeaten.

Unbelieveable season, they should make a film of it, just not wi Sean Bean in.

I simply cannot see us losing tomorrow. I'm nervos about the game, but would be totally shocked if we don't see the job through. Dave Jones has to be commended on the professional job so far. The improvement in playing style as well, although Megson isn't as bad as Pulis, he probably isn't a mile off. The attacking football has seen some of our better players flourish! UTO

Best of luck Wednesday fans tomorrow. I'd take great pleasure in ye going up tomorrow at the expense of United
And of course even more pleasure in seeing them fail in the playoffs.

In league 2, Barnet in big trouble, down as it stands. Burton just missed pen 1 1 there and Hereford hammering torquay. All good for Southend at the moment and will leave the paradise of league 2

Cobblers losing a bit meh. Just hoping Barnet can get the win at the Pirelli to keep them safe.

Unbelievable - survived again ! Things have to change next season, my heart can't take it.

I generally like Geoff Stelling but he's an annoying bast**d when your waiting for him to finish his speil to find out if things are going your way or not.

Can't believe it. Ecstatic. Great scenes at the end. Pitch invasion. Llera lifted up by the fans like the hero he is.
