OK people, as we all know this didn't really take off too well mainly because people (includin me

) were too lazy to set up hundred.... 5...... PMs to sqend on stories as they were written

so lets get some suggestions goin alright?
what can we do to make this easier?

I think maybe if we set up a social group that could work, at least for a bit, even as our own personal archive of stories

how would we go about getting that done?

I was interested in signing up for the mailing list but I can imagine it's a pain to send the PMs.

You could try google groups, I'm not sure what the limit of characters for a post is. Everyone needs a google account to join one, but you can have a google account with a non-gmail address which helps. Everyone in the mailing list gets emailed the post, as well as it still being up there when new members join so they read what has been previously posted. The only problem I really have with it is once something's posted it can't be edited, so you'll have to delete the 'wrong' one and redo it.

Yahoo groups could also be looked into, though personally I don't like it as much. There's lots of alternatives as well that a quick google search can help to find.

I'm still relatively new around here, so I never signed up for this, but whatever winds up happening, I'd love to get in on it. I guess I don't have an opinion so much as to how it's done, since I know nothing about the social groups and how they work or anything.

Just a suggestion - could we not do it in this forum, one thread per story?

The titles could all start with the same thing, so that new members could search for them...
If chapters are needed, then the OP could edit the OP (hehehe) to include a link to the 2nd chapter's post in the same thread. Or just edit the post and add the 2nd chapter...
