Ok I am def not coming near this thread from tomorrow until next friday, I dont want to know what happens next episode until I watch it.
Can anyone who reads the comics tell me how closely they are sticking to the comic story lines? I would imagine for the comic readers the series makes more entertaining viewing the more they stray from the comic stories.

Any word when it will be back on our screens for the 3rd series, have they started filming yet? I am going to be suffering serious withdrawal symptoms

I don't know...I read a book series Spoiler: (Game of Thrones) where the author killed big, main, important characters constantly. It was frustrating as hell.

I think Carol definitely has it in her, and I'd love that, too. She's become a more interesting character with her daughters death, and her connection with Daryl.

As far as I know, it comes back in October, with 16 episodes ordered. I'm not sure if they're filming yet, but I do know they cast the character of The Governor, from the comics (haven't read them, just have heard about him).

Filming starts this may, and the 3rd series will most likely premier in october like it has done the last 2 seasons, though that hasnt been confirmed and may be wrong. Who knows maybe itll start september this year

its gonna be a looong summer :/ at least game of thrones starts up in a few weeks and the white walkers are pretty much zombies!

Indeed. Heads up folks, with the season finale coming up on us, interest in The Walking Dead is likely to temporarily wane. Anyone who would like to see a forum created for The Walking Dead should register their support soon and often, lest it fall by the wayside!

Well its usually two but it was one last week so im not 100% sure, better safe than sorry

I think that's because of the time change here in the states.

I've never read the comics (on that note, is there anywhere I can buy large bundles of the comics for cheap-ish? Was looking on amazon and each issue was 9.99, no way am I spending that much)
so I'm thinking Maggie is gonna be killed this week.

yeah the clocks went forward last week by an hour in america, won't change here in ireland until next weekend, so its on at 1am irish time.

I can almost guarantee you maggie wont be killed anytime soon.
oh ye the comics are mucho expensive

I just borrow them from my local library

buying all the comics up to the latest issue would cost absurd amounts of money

The waits between this aren't half as long as they were between seasons of Lost.
Now that was torture, and they ended on much worse cliffhangers.

Check out play.com I was told they are cheaper than amazon, I havent checked myself so cant vouch for that.
