wouldnt be just easier to get Ipod/iphone and balistic calculator on it? there 3 or 4 of them. you could find them cheap.. so many used for sale.
and if you dont want to get you Ipod damaged get OtterBox its not waterproof but its rainproof for sure, and its veery solid.

Thanks man, Was thinkin about gettin ipod touch and sticking one of the ballistic apps on it but saw pocket pc with exbal go for good price here last week and was thinkin if could get one for same sort of money would be sweet plus exbal is supposed to be quite good
