If you're a polite, respectful person who treats the other posters as human beings it's incredibly unlikely that you'll break a rule in a charter. True, some forums have some odd quirks but they're trivially worked out from context in most cases. Unless you post in a forum without reading some of it first you'll have spotted the local quirks before they bite you.

In roughly 8 years of posting on Boards I've never been warned/infracted/banned and yet I've never read any of the charters bar the one I helped write.
