Not sure I am in the right place but I am looking to upgrade my bike but want to trade my 1 year old lapierre R-Lite 400 against it . Do you know any of the reputable retailers that take trades ? would I be better looking to sell it privately? Should I hold off till Autum for better prices on older 2010 stock as the new 2011 stock will be coming in ? No reall hurry in teh change.
Had planned to trade locally but I think I got stiffed today on a service in the shop (new 9 speed chain, new generic break blocks and general look over €80!!) so now not pushed in giving them anymore business .
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
