One of my friends works in the CPW and has one of these.
She said last night that they received a Galaxy from o2 with 2.2 pre-installed in the last couple of days

Having a slight problem on my Galaxy S. I have my work email on it, just entered my details and server as an exchange account and my calendar and all that synced up. However, some of the entries on my calendar appear at the wrong time. One I set up for 4:30pm on a Friday appears as 10:30am and one that an American set up for 5pm Irish time every day appears at 10am every day. That's not even local time (The are 8 hours behind).

Anyone have any ideas?

When you download the app you just hit the register button on it and fill in your details, it them auto forwards your voicemail to the to Hullomail app,
I think it's excellent, all your missed calls also show up in the app as well, workrs great on the galaxy so far and sidesteps the voicemail charge on 3

Is there a way of blocking calls or texts from one number on this phone?

If you go into mobile networks and search, then select the 3G, it should then pick up the 3G. What provider are you with?

Go to settings, wireless and networks, mobile networks, network mode.

Make sure that's set to GSM/WCDMA and make sure you are in an area with 3G coverage

meteor is over 60% a 2G network, it's quite possible there is no meteor 3G where you are.

You could try to download an app from the market that could try to enable the 3G.

Try Quick Settings, available for free from the market
