that depends on which you go for.

I'm using the V3.2.1 version by owain94. theres a few Roms there, some in various stages of development. check them out.

The next step for me is updating to this version.

Of course, be careful with this. Rooting your phone voids the warranty etc etc etc, so dont do this if you think your going to bring it back to the shop!

Is that 2.2?

Probably a silly question but I'm having awful trouble rooting my mini pro. How did you do it? I've tried superoneclick and z4root but they aren't working.

Edit: Found this website that has a good guideline.

Good
Battery life seems has improved
Wifi connection is quicker and so is surfing speed, although it does disconnect sometimes.
Bluetooth file transfer now available (although I havent used it yet).

Bad
Cant unlock screen with 4square button.
Everything will be wiped from your phone, backup and restore didnt catch everything so beware
Not all apps were saved either and you will lose any personal settings within those apps (Theres also a sh1tload of new apps that you cant delete)
Worst thing - Bluetooth car connection gone, they both pair but you cant answer or dial calls. seems to be a common problem.

Overall I found it a waste of time. Losing the car connection has really p1ssed me off
Got an update notification recently and decided I had nothing to lose. Downloaded the Update Service from SE and the bluetooth is now fixed. Delighted when I switched on my phone to see no apps had been deleted and no information was deleted at all. If anyone of you are still having problems, it might be worth considering. I got that notification, I'm going to update it tonight. Are there any changes bar the fix you have mentioned?
