Its believed to be the opposite. Flatlinerz were a few years before Gravediggaz and when they failed, Gravediggaz formed and followed thier blueprint....but not so extreme. Flatlinerz downfall was being too 'horrorcore'

But Prince Paul also had an unreleased album in the early 90's called Horror City which had Gravediggaz/Flatlinerz elements to it.

Meh... Both came out in '94 but Gravediggaz album came out a short while before theirs. That Prince Paul album was from '95 and never seen the light of day until a few years ago.

NIP's album came out in '92 and the Geto Boys were making similar music even before that.
