When will this be released, reports suggesting the 24th of Aug, as in 2 days. Have'nt heard much about this in a few months now.

Anywhere in Ireland gonna be carrying this on pre-pay? I expect it to be a couple months before it hits shelfs over here.

I see it listed on loads of sites like expaneys.ie but no release date or price still confirmed.

Looking to upgrade badly at this stage, N95 is on its way out but im holding out for this badboy

well i looked around a few sites all stating its hitting the uk in a few days and around 465 cant remember is it euros or pounds...not a bad price tag but we will see how it goes

I keep seeing 25th August as the UK release date but most of the reports are from May so I don't know if it's changed or anything. I'd say it'll be a couple of months at least before any of the Irish carriers have it.

We've still got Nokia World to come in mid-September too, so an announcement on when you'll be able to get your hands on the phone would makes sense there, and a couple of weeks later would be an ideal time, especially as it would be a step ahead of the Windows Phone 7 devices launching.

Availability according to both the Italian and Spanish Nokia websites is end of September. Which will just about meet their Q3 2010 target for this phone.

i have been due an upgrade the last few months but have held off for the release of the n8 was tempted to get the iphone 4 for free,but i find that nokia is light years ahead of apple after all nokia had video call 5 years ago along with the fact that you can blue tooth video/music from other devices compared to the iphone.

So I saw this been reviewed (briefly) on Techrader..
Anyone think this might be a good phone considering the mess they made with the N97. Have Nokia learnt their lesson. It's still using Symbian 3 though

also they are selling it sim free for £429 yet the nokia.it/fr website have it for 469e when i did a currency conversion the uk price jumped to 530+ euro.
im also not happy that three dont seem to have the phone on their uk network which means more than likely they wont stock it here.
