Paypal Limitation Frustration

Hi Folks,
Any help here? I'm at my wits end!

My paypal account was limited in the middle of Jan. I supplied them with the correct documents and they unlocked my account a couple of days later. Then on the 22nd of Jan they limited my account again asking for the same stuff. I rang them and spoke to the Irish guy in limitations. He told me that It was probably an error and would log a ticket for it. A few days later no result, still limited. Since then I've uploaded all the same docs. I apparently had a missed call from them and a paypal agent in 'merchant limitations' sent me an email with further detail of what they where looking for. I've since uploaded all this stuff (well over a week now) and as yet the account is still not unlocked. I trade a fair bit on ebay. I buy my goods from a UK distributor and resell on with a small profit. Only problem now is they are going to be looking for payment (uk distributor) and because my account is limited I cant draw down the money.

I've called them multiple times and all they can tell me is they dont deal with it and the dept that does, does not take phone calls. 'Apparently' its been escalated to the manager but he hasnt done anything with it in over a week.

I'm going out of my mind with worry about this.

Can anyone offer some advice? Alternative number for Merchant Support or email address. All I'm short of doing is going over to Blanch to knock down the door. The email they sent to me came from an unmanned address so I cant even reply to that.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards
Admiral

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. It took them 5 months to sort it out, by which time I'd abandoned PayPal as a payment collector entirely. The months long wait provided the stimulus to look into alternate collection options.

The Irish call centre is a waste of space. They have no authority and can't seem to speak to anyone with authority. My guess is that all the communications they have with the upper levels of the food chain happen via some remote messaging system rather than by telephone, making it easy for Ireland to be ignored.

How much money have you taken in? Have you supplied invoices and supplier details, all the tracking numbers delivered and any open buyer complaints?

I had a hold on my account recently. Just to had to send in some docs but got it sorted within two weeks.
I know its no good to you now but in the future don't let too much build up in your Paypal account. Drawdown regularly to your bank acc.

Law suit against Paypal

Hi does anyone know a way to start a legal action against PayPal as they limited my Paypal account and don't want to lift the limitation. The limitation is ridiculous because of an item I sell on eBay. But the item I sell on eBay is legal and I am legally allowed to sell the item. And if there was an issue with the item it would be removed by eBay and Paypal got nothing to do woth it. I pay them (high) fees to receive money of the sales I make. I don't get any answer from them by phone and want to start a legal process as due to this Paypal limitation I can use my eBay account but can't receive money on sales... I know I can set up my own web site and use Realex for example but eBay got better visilibilty than a site of my own. Please any help or suggestion is welcome. Thanks.

You talk to a solicitor. This is the only way to instigate legal proceedings against them.

You can post the link to your auction if you like. It won't be seen as spam in this context.
