You would struggle to fold bottom pair in this spot

Are PLO hands allowed?

If so $10plo in the 8-game mixed.

CO opens, BTN flats, I flat SB with 7889.

Flop ($1.15) 8TJ two hearts.

I check, CO bets $0.40, BTN calls, I pot to ~$2.65, CO folds, BTN flats. (Is this an OK flop line)

Turn (~$6.85) Kh one of the worst cards in the deck obv. I check? he checks back

River J What my line here? Can I bet the crappy boat, or c/c, or c/f? :O

never sure whats the best line here

sorry no HH

effective stacks $170

I opens KhKs to 4$ from UTG+1 (i'm about 19/16 or so, 3b 15% over 100 hands)

CO 3bets to 13 (playing about 20/15 3b 2% over 100 hands only note is "raised to 3 from sb with q10o, called raise from BB to 10 and flopped trips.")

I 4b to $30 (sizing OK?) and he flats.

pot $61.50
flop AdJc5c pot

hero ?

Quick one from the 6 max ECOOP event last night.

On 3rd level, won a few small pots uncontested, lost a 2 pots where I opened from CO and was 3 bet by player who hadn't played many hands

Hero 20bbish- blinds 50/100
UTG with AJ diamonds

I raised to 250, button only caller who has a 50bb+ stack - he recently joined the table

Everyone else folds

Flop 10s with 2 diamonds

Hero checks- Villain bets 250

Hero?

just wondering if my line was correct from here

Cheers

I'd just bet the flop. Why the check?

As played, i'd check-raise with a view to getting the lot in. Massive flop for your hand and you have tons of equity against villains entire range.

I check-raised all in and he called with A10, A came on turn with river blank.

I wasn't sure if it was the right move. With this particular hand the A on the turn ensured all the money would have gone in anyway, just wanted to see if there is any argument for flat calling the flop and seeing what happens in that situation

Philip: Really? I'd fold pre as well FWIW with 67 vs 2 shorties.

Zuutroy: Might be more suited to a full thread. I'm not sure I like the flop raise, even vs the small donk, so I'd prefer flatting. Raise/folding here sucks, and raise/getting it in sucks too. As played I'd bet fold half pot on the river. There are plenty of worse hands he can call with, and he never raises worse. That being said, I'm really not sure about the flop, so hopefully someone better at PLO says something.

Mickc: I'd 4bet a bit bigger with 170bb stacks. I'd bet/fold now and see a turn, but I guess a check/call and fold to anything more is fine too.

Suited: I take it the flop is Txx with two diamonds? I'd just shove now, but I prefer betting myself.
