Forever Living Products

Has anyone any experience of Forever Living Products ? I'm specifically wondering about selling the products. We had a rep at our house this afternoon explaining about it and, as always with these things, it seems too good to be true. It sounds like a pyramid scheme although the rep said it wasn't like that.
I'd love to hear from anyone who is/was involved in selling these products and what the experiences are/were.

Well chughes, I think that it would great for you to join Forever Living.

O.k. I'm a FLP distributor and maybe you think that I am trying to convince you to join. But I have nothing to earn if you join FLP under your friend.

I am only giving you my oppinion about this business opportunity. Yes, it's a pyramid scheme. (What is not a pyramid scheme? Goverments? Companies? Families?)Everything in this world seems to be a pyramid. But FLP is not a scam! It's a real legitimate opportunity for ordinary people like you and me.

Forever opportunity

Hi there,
We live in England and work with a number of people in Ireland. We have been with Forever Living for over 5 years and have a VERY successful business. It is a remarkable company and it is not a pryamid scheme. It is network marketing which is very different. It is one of the most ethical companies I have ever seen and the product line is fantastic. If you want to be successful in the business you must work with someone who is experienced and can offer you excellent support and training. You should not be left alone. If you are interested in discussing this matter any further please contact me at ron@thebfg.co.uk.

Hmmm... ah well I have a few minutes to spare so here goes...

As the saying goes, the clue is in the question. And the question contains phrases 'too good to be true' and 'pyramid scheme'. And no doubt it's pure coincidence that the very first post for 2 users who happened to have signed up this very day are lavishing praise on FLP. But as pyramid schemes go, I'm sure it's as good as any other!

Pyramid vs Network Marketing

It's sad that so many people really don't understand what a pyramid "scheme" really is. A pyramid scheme is front loaded, that is people register people in order to make money and don't really care what happens afterwards. Also, the person who sponsors someone gets a percentage of the person they sponsor which then doesn't allow the sponsored person to make as much as the person who sponsors them. Does that make sense? In Forever, we ONLY earn an income if we help the person become successful and we don't take any income from them. So, the person sponsored can actually make more money if they develop a bigger business. It's very ethical. We build a network of people who want more in their lives, want to live a different life, etc. I now have to get on with my day and change people's lives for the better!

This is a genuine enquiry on my part as to people's experiences with selling Forever Living products. I am currently between jobs and my wife is a full time housewife and she spotted an ad for this in a newspaper.
Given that jobs are hard to come by at the moment, we are looking at all sorts of ways of generating income and this is one we are looking at currently. We never heard of this organization until a few days ago and it's an area my wife is interested in.
I know there has been positive feedback and I would just like to know if anyone has any bad or negative experiences with them.

147 views is plenty at this stage I think. Consider your question answered chughes - feel free to ask it someplace else next time.
