Anyone need help on a presentation?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone needed help with a powerpoint presentation, I am thinking of setting up a small presentation consultancy in the near future and just want to get some more experience working with other people's presentations and trying to help them come up with the best end product as possible.

Here are two presentations I put together to put on slideshare.net,

Check them out if you have a minute,

I'm not asking for money, its totally free, I just want to get some more experience, and if I produce anything good for you then its a win-win!

If you're interested send me on a pm.

There are way too much slides in those presentations.
The slides are ment to assist the person giving the presentation and used to make key points/stages. Your presentations are designed more like something you would read.

I'd agree, you seem to be writing way too much.

"Powerpoint" Presentations should support what the speaker is saying. It shouldn't have so much content that people are readig over the presenter's shoulder or reading ahead of the presenter.

Spend a while on this site and see what you think.

In particular, these posts are very instructive on the effectiveness of good slides.

Yeh you guys are both right, and believe me I am a huge fan of Presentation Zen. I have read the book cover to cover many times.

They were probably quite bad examples to cite as they were for slideshare.net's competition, and on Slideshare you have to let your slides speak for themselves, without you to deliver them - point taken though, not the best way to promote myself!

Hi, Im no guru! Not even a bit. But I wouldn't offer to do stuff for free so open ended. What if 10 people got back to you, would you do 10 presentations for free?

Im not being a smarty pants here.
Maybe something like, 1st person gets it for free.

Not a big deal at all at all, just thought Id put it up.
Like your stuff though!

Thanks for the reply, well I guess if 10 people did reply I would do 10 presentations... I'm just that kinda guy haha.

I'm willing to put in a rather huge effort on this over the next while, which will include a presentation blog with some how to vids etc (watch this space), interesting thoughts etc.

Thanks for the feedback though
