New motor for wife, suggestions please.

Hello,
my new wife currently drives a 2006 hatch corolla. 70000 kilometres.
She thinks she is all grown up now and wants a newer 'wife' car. She wants,
a bigger engine,
a 2007 car,
Trade in,
but not spend anymore than around €4000.

No kids, maybe in the next few years.
She does about 130 kilometres a week for work.
Can anyone suggest any cars?

Thanks.

First I would suggest that you don't let your wife read this

otherwise your new car will most likely be a wheelchair

I read the title and thought you weanted to a new car for your wife in the sense that you wanted an amazing car to be spend all of your time with!!

I was looking forward to another thread of amazing cars and their merits...

Im so dissappointed.

DO you think she'd be interested in a 07 Sportage 2L? My Missus is looking to get a smaller car

Hey again.
I honestly was not being patrionising. My wife hasn't seen this thread but that is the way she herself described this new car that she wants. She does want a family car but does want a 'wife' car.
I'm just relaying the description.
Was thinking or an avensis, or a passat?
2l sportege.... Too big, sorry.
Come on, more suggestions?

Her indoors moved up from an Ibiza 3dr in 2007 to a Volvo V50 and she still loves the car.

Estate is big enough for the dog, it's a proper grown up car with all the bells and whistles, and there is room for little ones if they come along.

Savman, that's not very nice now is it.
Just for the record....my wife is like a Bugatti Veyron.....the very best there is!

Looks like she is leaning towards an avensis.

Any serious suggestions?

How about a Peugeot 307/308? Or even a 307/308SW?

Very "wifey".
