Ebay fees when buyer/seller change their minds

I listed an item on ebay and it sold. Now I've decided I don't think I want to sell it afterall and the buyer has decided not to buy it (convenient). There were other bidders and I see second chance offer beside their names. My question is do I still owe ebay 10% (or whatever the fee is) of the final bid if I just leave the item unsold? Will they be contacting me wanting to know whats happening?
