search bar in google gone

The search bar in my google home page has disappeared. It say you have to press enter to search.

Screenshot of it. Here's How:

1.Press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. It may be labeled [PrtScn].

2.Open an image editing program, such as Microsoft Paint.

3.Go to the Edit menu and choose Paste.

4.If prompted to enlarge the image, choose Yes.

6.Go to the File Menu and choose Save As.

7.Navigate to the folder where you want to save the image.

8.Type a file name for the image.

9.Post it here.

Do you see the Google search and I'm feeling lucky bars just under where the search term is entered? They are not there in google.ie

I will try to do a screenshot, thanks

What bowser are you using ie.IE, Firefox etc. Have a look at this

IE8 and that is the issue exactly except he has google.co.uk and i have google.ie. Could change home page to google.com but then all the security progs would be screaming

It's Google's new experiment which is hidden until you move your mouse, then it reappears.

Everyone presses Enter and nobody uses I'm Feeling Lucky, if you search - you most likely want something specific.

it is back to normal for me now I have Google Search and I'm Feeling Lucky buttons back
