Comedy Central UK censoring South Park

I've just been watching the South Park episode Goobacks about the immigrants from the future coming to South Park and I can't believe they have actually censored the word 'retard'. What the hell? I just checked the transcript of the episode and it appears twice and was censored both times.

The show went out between 1:30am and 2am so how can they justify such ~~stupidity~~ 'correctness'.

Ridiculous. I think I'll complain and see what they say. Anyone else come across this?

best example I ever saw was mtv censoring 'nuclear' and 'war' in electric six's - gay bar

Comedy Central have being censoring episodes of Frasier and Scrubs for years now.

But South Park at 1:30 in the moring, WTF?

I think so, but I haven't watched it in a while now. But when airing Scrubs, they would take out whole sections and a line here or there for during the day but then the episode would be normal is shown after 9:00.
