Defying Gravity 1x13 - season finale **spoilers** - lets discuss!

Tis out, tis over....like over over, no more eps.
Your thoughts on the final episode + the series overall?

So what?....no one watched?, no fanz huh?....anywhoo, not alot happened, Zoe grabbed Gamma and got badly burned. usual relationship stuff interspersed with Sci-Fi. It just ended....no idea what the objects are about or an overall arc.

Pity, it had potential, decent CGI, the characters are pretty bland but the Sci-Fi element had some interest. But it's all mute now as the show is over....aah well.

Another tv show that gets axed early, recurring motif in tellyville.

Feck off with your polls, User.

Early reviews (here and around t'internet) put me off even watching the pilot of this. Was it worth watching in any way?

I doubt most would like it, the Greys Anatomy relationship stuff overpowers the Sci-Fi for the first five eps., we got more Sc-Fi in the lattter part. The ship and CGI look great, it's not cheapo stuff. I think it tried to incorporate two genre's....but it didn't really work.

Neither genre was strong enough to carry the show off, so personal choice to watch...i watched it 'cause Friday/Sat is slow for telly stuff....it passes 42 mins ok.

just watched, i suppose this ending was allot like the show - i would be interested in finding something from the makers about what the objects where going to be - just to satisafy my curiosity. i would be more pissed off if the shiow had really picked up and then ended on a clifhaner as it stands im not that bothered its gone

Awful awful stuff. I did watch it but as kind of car-crash TV. I get the impression the studio wanted "Sci-Fi for women" as patronising as that sounds. They obviously spent a lot of money on the show but I have never seen such a group of cliche characters in one show. There wasn't one character, major or minor, who wasn't a two dimensional (If even that) cardboard cutout from other shows. Even joey-from-bread!!!!

If they wanted Sci-fi they had an interesting premise and should have gone for it harder: factored in communication lag for extra tension, tightened the space available on the ship, brought in a little more tech scenes (Not trek mind you, but just a little).

If they wanted that melodrama set it on earth, in a hospital, or a law firm.... oh wait.

Such a waste of Ron Livingstone. (and that blonde girl who always looked like she was going to cry was the worst.)

That's the thing there, after 13 eps I don't even remember the names of the two prime characters. Ya just don't care.

This pretty much sums up the show.
