Rewriting a CD-R?

A friend of mine insists you can write more than once to a CD-R when you write session and , I think he says, unlock the dic. I cannot do it. Is there any way you csan write more than once to a CR-R. To my knowledge there is no way to do this on a CR-R. Am I wrong?

Thanks

From above No! however you can use the `session writing' option `ticked' so that your cd does not get closed before it is complete (you an keep on adding new stuff to the CD till its capacity is full

What does that mean? That you can write several files during the one burn

yes but it wont be readable as anything other than a data cd until its closed (ie wont play on anything other than a PC/laptop)
