Folder name changed when copying to new disk

I bought some WD 250gig drives from Komplett and was backing up the contents of my computer to them these last few days. I went with a fairly simple folder naming method for my files, view, watch, listen, etc. Listen is for music. I did a straight select-all, copy, paste to the new drive and let it run away. Some 12 hours later, it was done. However, I notice that it's changed 'Listen' to 'Music'. The contents are identical, and a sync with SyncBack doesn't notice any difference, but the folder is definitely called Music.

How? And, also, why?

Ghost in the machine?

Seriously though, you may find the backup software you have is one of those Windows "we know best" types which do particular things to folders based on contents.

Remember the My pictures folder a while back which IIRC opened with thumbs by default - am I correct on this?

There was a strange little icon different from other folders I think.

Anyway its probably something like that.
