Typical tyre type for a '99 VW Polo 1.0 / cheapest to buy in Limerick / Cork area?
Hi all,
Need to change the 4 tyres on my '99 Polo, going through NCT soon. I don't have the owners manual with me, anyone know the typical tyre type used? Also, what's the cheapest to buy in Limerick / Cork area? Thanks in advance. |

Pust look on the tyre wall - it will read xxx/xx/rxx. Thats your tyre size. Check eire tyres or camskill for that size. You will need to get someone local to fit/track/balance them.
On a smaller size tyre though just ring around a few local tyre places as the saving buying online isn't as good. |

My sister has the same size tyres on her Lupo, 165/70/R13 afaik. Cheapest place in Limerick I got a quote of €38 per tyre fitted and balanced, was from Limerick Tyre Centre in Fenton's Yard, Raheen (opposite the Peugeot dealer).

Thanks for info everyone!
Sorry about that Lifer_Sean, I have been charged with getting her through the NCT for my brother - brotherly love, I don't think so! If the muppet does lose interest, i'll let you know straight away, i'll have the car back in Limerick. |
