Are they big enough to sell out that place? Personally, I couldn't justify paying that much for them, don't know them enough.

i dont think they'd sell out here. im only 18 though and only one person i know likes them, maybe they're more popular amongst other generations but i do think that DMB is an american thing as opposed to an age thing. either way im there!!!

Got my tickets on o2 blueroom presale anyway. Saw them in the point before, it didn't sell out that time but I wasn't taking any chances. Phenomenal live band and I've been a fan for years. But yeah, they're not nearly as big here as they are in the States.

Yeah sorry, I just meant here. Know they are huge elsewhere, but O2 huge...unlikely.

Can't wait for this! Had tickets to see them in England earlier this year but couldn't go. Glad they're playing Ireland.

I've been a fan of theirs since '97 (when I first heard their music while on J1) and I saw them in the Point the last time, it was a good gig but I felt the atmosphere was a tad pedestrian. Perhaps I was expecting too much, that's the problem of listening to a lot of their well produced much hyped live albums.

I saw them supporting Springsteen in London in June. Their sound is fantastic, but the extending jamming just isn't for me. I know that's part and parcel of the band, but I really could've done without most of it, given that the songs themselves were usually good.

The only advice I would give you is to try and listen to a bit of their music before you go for it. I went the last time in the Point and didnt really get into it at all.

That was just Dave and Tim Reynolds, excellent as they are I prefer to see the full band, you must see Carter Beauford behind those drums! Fantastic drummer.
