itunes, just deleted teh file in applications folder, help!

hey gang hope yer all well

i have an ipod shuffle and i use a third party app called yamipod, but it only works with your ipod shuffle if it was restored on a versionof itunes that is older than version 8 of itunes.

my was restored on itunes 9.0, and i just deleted itunes 9.0, the file from my applications folder, to make way for itunes 8.0 which i found online, but now its saying that there is still traces of itunes 9.0 on my mac, how can i get this to work?

thanks very much

Ed
