1973 Mustang

I am missing something from the passenger side dash (see pic). Does anyone know what should be there? Looks like a place for some kind of warning light but I'm not sure........

could it be a holder for an ashtray? The small semi-circle push in type?

I haven't been able to find a picture, but I concur--I remember those rotating ashtrays well.

If you can find a pic it would be great.
Nothing definitive in the catalog but there is a mention of a safety belt warning light on some dashes

Does look like a seat belt warning light.

Cheers Justin. I'll contact a few dealers and see if they have anything. Nothing listed in the catalog

It simply says 'Fasten seat belt'.

Although it looks like a similar shape, I think that dash photo might be deceptive. Here's a standard seat belt warning light unit.

Checked with a few guys in the States and its the seat belt reminder light sure enough and guess what..............not available for 71-73 Mustangs. Will look around for NOS but could be costly for what it is.
