Volunteering as an Assistant IT Manager in a small charity

Suas Educational Development is an educational NGO. We believe that education is a tool that can change the world and we support high quality education projects for under resourced communities in India, Ireland and Kenya.

We are looking for someone that has an understanding of computer networks to help us to manage the Information Systems in the office. Our ideal volunteer will have several years of experience of building a network, troubleshooting network issues, and providing IT support to an office team.

This role requires a weekly committment of at least 15 hours, and a minimum time commitment of twelve weeks, given the training required to work independently. A volunteer in this role will be managing a small office network and support desk, whilst improving services to the team on a very tight budget.

This may suit someone who has been made redundant and is looking for a part-time commitment as they consider their future path.

To apply, please send a letter of application, CV, and contact details of two referees to hr [at] suas.ie
