Some corruption there all right. There is already a small bypass of the town, this additional bypass is only useful for people going from Listowel to Bypass Tralee onto killorglin. All tourists from limerick, dublin can use the main castleisland road. This will not even benefit listowel people going to Dingle. Castleisland is closer going through abbeyfeale. This road will serve almost nobody.

This money could of done both newmarket and abbeyfeale. It would be interesting to see what contractors or landowners benefit from this strange decision of the previous government. This should of been bottom of the list, shocking how the healy raes could hold the country to ransom.

There has been occasions where Jackie has been the single vote holding an FF government in power, and being in that position gives the independent in question (Tony Gregory was that independent once) MASSIVE power.

Under the Public Works Contracts, the contractor has to start onsite within 20 working days of receiving the Letter of Intention, so they may start before the signing of the actual contract document.
