Assignment 22 - I had to look up !

OK folks, this fortnights assignment's theme is "I had to look up !"

A lot of us when we take photos only see what is in front of us or below us. Walking down the street you might see a happy face and shoot it, or you could be in the garden taking shots of flowers.

Now try something different. Be a snob !! Be Proud !! Hold your head up high and see something different.

There have been various great photos both in the random thread and for C&C over the last while to give you enough ideas. However below are a couple of ideas (that are not my shots) to start you off.

General rules apply:

*Photos must be in by 2 weeks of given task - closing date 8th October, 9pm.
*No old photos. Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify - sorry. Therefore, dated 25th September onwards.
*Photos must be on the given task.
*ONE photo per post. Post as many as you like.
*C&C to be encouraged - but be nice about it.
*Stretch yourself - no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
*Next task/subject to be chosen by person who has the most thanks after their post (must include a picture in the post ).

And have fun

Buzz

xxxxxxxx

I totally agree, same as virtually every city in the world. It's all ruined by shop fronts and garish signs that take your attention. The locals never look up and the tourists spot lots. I only realised how interesting the top of Dublin's buildings are after I came back from Amsterdam (where there's lots of interesting stuff 'up'). Now I'm in Wellington, I'm getting the locals to do it too.

I only realised it when I brought my (bogger) nephew and neice to town for the first time 2 years ago and they were like, "look at that statue, look at that harry potter building"

Don't worry about this task if it's too challenging for you. We have a 'special' one you, so that you don't hurt yourself

I had to look up to find a pub crawl

I wondered what wondrous sights might be there when I 'looked up' around grafton street when I was about it earlier today.

Well I just figured out why we Irish have a bit of an international reputation;

See what you see when you look up!
The gold crossy thingy on the gate of our church is the same as the one on top of the steeple. Now there's a piece of information that might come in handy in a pub quiz sometime!
