Wanna win some money from the bookies next summer?

Put everything you have on England to win the world cup. From listening to the English media they obviously know something we don't.

Why do they always set themselves up for a near inevitable disappointment?

Hardly. Trappatoni, one of the most successful managers of all time, gets a hard time from the Irish media.

Wanna win some money next summer? Put it on Irelands bar-stool pundits to whine and moan about Traps tactics. Odds are 100/1 on

In fairness England do have a decent chance. Capello is no fool. Argentina and France are falling apart, doesn't look like Portugal will qualify either.

Good value at 8-1 imo.

Spain, Brazil, Italy, Holland..

England have no chance. Put to much pressure on themselves and fail dismally.

Ha? World cup? Germany just won Euro 2009.
This may belong in soccer or gambling or something rather than here.
