Just looking at the price of flights for going over to the games.

Michael O' Leary has the price of the flights into Liverpool well inflated on the match weekends.

Anyone ever find ways around this?

Fly into Manchester and train to Liverpool, or fly into Birmingham I was thinking myself.

Is there a passenger ferry to Liverpool anymore?

I think its a total disgrace the way the club are now doing the ticket sales.unless u have over 13 games on ur cards there is no benefit at all to be had.u need 13 games then it drops to any fan card holder which is just crazy. we have 12 fan cards linked and gave up when it took 2 hours to try get 4 tickets for a game and then another 3 hour wait if we wanted another 4. Were all cancelling our memberships after this season along with a lot of other lads i know. The membership has just become a money racket and u are not guaranteed any tickets at all. i have been to over 500 home games and now the club are sticking up 2 fingers to myself and a lot of other genuine supporters who have traveled with me over the years. We have sent 65 emails to the club but as we know thats a total waste of time because they don't care as long as the money rolls in. Very disappointed and its sad after all the years to have to stop attending every game and just get to an odd one. Thats my rant over but do anybody else feel the same or have had the same problems or is it just me haha. i know its the wrong place to put this but i know loads of real fans are on here regularly.

Ray I think u took tickets off me to the wba game last year. If you are stuck for any this year give me a shout. I've decided to get as many as possible to get over the 13 game limit so have few spares

I have flown into Birmingham on numerous occasions and travelled up to Liverpool .

Its pretty straight forward on the trains :
It takes 1:40 mins .
The train from New St Birmingham goes directly to Lime St Liverpool.
Return express (no change over) ticket is around £30.
Pump your dates into this for a price.

Manchester Airport to Lime Street off peak costs about 18 euro if you buy well in advance. best time to fly into Manchester is when Manure or ****ty are playing away. Aer Lingus seem to be reasonable on price then.

A taxi can be cheaper so look out for lads going the same way.

Have stayed in Jurys and found it good.
