Good value / Early Bird restaurants in Dublin City Centre

Hi guys

Where would ye recommend for some reasonably priced good food in or around Dublin City Centre?. For a Saturday evening earlyish.

We are heading to a show in Vicar Street afterwards so preferably somewhere convenient enough to there.

Anyone?? I have looked on menupages but am reluctant after trying somewhere that was highly recommended on there before and it turned out to be one of the worst meals ever!
