Hygienic reasons, as I had listed used cosmetics and used nail varnishes (both separate listings and both were removed).

This is the email I received from them.

Dear <ebay username> (<email address>),

We appreciate that you chose eBay to list your listing(s). However, we have removed your (s) because it breaches our Used Cosmetics policy.

<item number> - Rimmel ELF Sally Hansen Boots No.7 Natural Collection

Why did we remove your listing?

You listed used comestics. Please note that excluding perfumes all other used cosmetics are prohibited on eBay due to hygienic reasons. So avoid listing such items

In accordance with our User Agreement, items prohibited by law or by eBay policy are not allowed on eBay.

Members are not permitted to sell used cosmetics on eBay. Members *can* list:

- Used perfumes
- Opened, but unused, cosmetics

All fees related to this listing have been credited to your account. We also notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

We understand it's frustrating to see your listing end. Please be assured our actions are focused on our policies and we're not singling you out. We apply the same rules to every listing we look into.
There are 1000s of other listings with used cosmetics, I've even bought used cosmetics/nail varnishes from eBay.

Got my hair up in pin curls & I look so like late-80s-my-mam it's not even funny. Great to know what you'd look like with a super, super tight perm without ever having one

I've seen so many listings on Ebay for obviously used cosmetics, I think its just pot-luck with them. Can you re-list them as opened but unused?

There are so many used cosmetics on eBay, few examples

Yeah maybe pot luck.

I can relist them, but I'll wait until they have free listings because its too expensive when you've to pay for listings.

I've messaged the buyer and asked if they still want the items and if they do I can relist them, but I'd have to relist them as new/new other, even though they are used.

Painted my nail again, used the two No.7 polishes I got yesterday, am not impressed with either of them, the quality is dreadful. So I then re-painted my nails using the Nails Inc vitoria and albert color, a nice bright red, love it.

Drinking a nice, cold glass of West Coast Cooler Rosé now.

Sitting here in tears now as myself and my mother had an argument with me granny.

Mam and I were here talking to each other, then in comes my granny and tries to start a fight with me, then with my mother, then they ended up arguing.

I am sick of it!

I have Shane Jnr getting sick downstairs, and his mommy getting sick upstairs...... I've a splitting headache- neurofen and panadol just aren't doing anything. At least Jnr is a lot happier after some panadol, though he does look miserable. A ginger snap cookie will probably help. I wish it were as easy to cheer up his Mum....... God, thats a big sneeze from a small child......

(5 minutes later)

Yup- the cookie has helped- he's now sitting back looking at Debbie Harry on TV, but doesn't have the energy to play. Something for Mommy next on my list, and then the laundry........
