Airbrush / Air compressor recomedations?

I've come to the conclusion that i need an Airbrush and Air Compressor, but not really sure what exactly i should by buying, and how much (or little) i should be spending?

Could someone talk me through what i need, and what the best value options are?

Thanks - and i know these are some very noobish questions.

I'm no expert, but I'd recommend a 24l compressor (around €150) and a single action Paasche or Badger airbrush (around €60 I guess).

If you progress later on you'd probably want a dual action airbrush (Iwata, $$$) but for the time being you'll be alright.

Make sure you have a regulator and water trap on the compressor.

Also remember to use the right paint for the application.

And practise x3 - you won't do a prize winning truck body first time around!

Action figures, and trying to do it on the cheap if possible.

The first airbrush is an Iwata, and I have one myself its really good quality and will last you a life time if you look after it. Ive used it recently on figures and found it grand. The second one is a bit finer though, so that choice is up to yourself. (depends on size of figure)
I dont see the point in getting a single action airbrush, as you will very quickly progress to wanting a dual action. If you are a bit worried that you wont be able to control the paint, you could always get the Preset handle for the brush you buy..

That compressor is the one i have been using for the last year, and it was recommended to me by a very good modeller who has used his for a few years. It comes with water trap and regulator and in my opinion is great value for money at that price. Postage will be 20 quid.
