Presuming everyone has seen or at least heard of this by now? Exploded onto my news feed today anyways, a highly recommended watch if you haven't seen it already. Almost 2.5 million views since it was uploaded yesterday on YouTube. It's a half an hour video.

Sorry lads, I don't buy into the hype/propaganda of that video.

By all means, share away and donate, but I don't think it's going to do any good.

Why? If it does lead to the arrest of Kony, of which there is a good chance, many thousands of lives will be saved. If it doesn't, plenty of lives will still be saved. I know there are questions over the organisation, but their intentions are good, and, imo anyways, they're worth a few euro out of my wallet.

Dont bother buying posters and t-shirts. They aren't going to stop Kony. Fact is, governments don't care what we think.

If you want to give money to something, give it to the kids through a charity that isn't questioned over it's spending of funds.

No, there is no chance that video will lead to his arrest.
Kony has been on the run since 2006 or so. He's not even in Ugunda anymore if what you read is true.

If Kony gets arrested it won't be because of this video.

It'll be because of the many legislations signed into US congress and around Europe to find him and punish him for his war crimes.

He has been wanted for the last 7 or more years, Obama sent 100 troops over to find him last year.

They all came up empty handed.

He is not the first to do this, and he won't be the last.

By all means, you donate away there. I'm sure the 32% of your donation that will actually go towards the charity will make you feel better.

Many thosands of lives may be saved. This is true.
But there is millions, millions of children suffering from AIDS/HIV in Africa. Maybe all these "donations" would be better off going towards that.

How's everyone doing with Netflix? Still subscribing? I am and there's a ton of stuff I want to watch.

Finished Friday Night Lights a while back and absolutely loved it. Some really memorable characters in it. Tim Riggins - legend.

Moved from FNL to Sons Of Anarchy, which I hadn't seen an episode of either. Onto season 2 now and enjoying it. It's like The Sopranos on Harley's.
