Very heavy rain is forecast for tonight and on Sunday with some flooding likely.

The heaviest rain is expected over the western half of the country where 30 to 40 mm are likely.

But in parts of Connacht and west Ulster, there could be falls of between 50 and 60 mm. Totals of between 20 and 30 mm are likely elsewhere.
