y= x/7
dy/dx = 1/7 for the 2nd one is sqrt(x) above or below the line? y = (1/4) * x^.5 dy/dx = .5*(1/4) * x^(-.5) dy/dx = 1/(8*sqrt(x)) You can do sums like this in wolfram alpha http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i...iate+y%3Dx%2F7 |
