Abandoned Glass Factory?

There used to be an abandoned Glass Factory down by the East Link bridge in the docklands. Does anyone know if it's still there and if it's still empty?

I'm going to take a wander down and check when I get a chance in a few days - hoping it's still empty as I'm looking to use it for a shoot location.

Thanks. Took a look on Google Maps there and the site looks pretty empty. I think it might have been levelled.

Yeah - Looks like they have done. Too bad, would have been really handy.

This was the poster boy of failed development sites that led to the current economic crisis. Even the hoardings around it are beginning to look a little shoddy now. Buildings are gone though I would say there will be plenty of abandoned premises around as an alternative.

True. The greenscreen set up in that one would have saved so much hassle though.

Anyways - onwards and upwards. If anyone knows of empty warehouses/factories that would be available don't hesitate to let me know.

Cheers.

Would have loved to see the Joint IRFU/FAI stadium built here and not existing site. The site on Lansdowne Road might have been worth more than this site, plus there would have been the chance to built an iconic stadium sitting on Dublins waterfront with whatever capacity they wanted (very little restrictions or objections I'd imagine).

Ah well
