Trad. Music Sat Night & Nice Restaurant in Dublin CC

Hi
I’m looking for a Pub that plays traditional / Ballad music on Saturday nights and a nice Restaurant, snazzy enough but not too expensive. No Asian food thanks (In Dublin City Centre for both). Any suggestion are appreciated.
Thanks

Not far away, is the New Arlington at the top of Dame Street, across from City Hall. You could go to a good restaurant in Temple Bar or somewhere in that area. There are plenty of them. It is down to your choice of food.

An interesting and novel one to go to is the Mongolian Barbecue, on Anglesea Street, behind Blooms Hotel. It isn't Mongolian food, in case that is what you are thinking. It is a bit like a buffet of regular food, all raw. You have vegetables, fish, meat etc., all in small pieces. It doesn't matter what kind of food you like, because there is a good mix of everything there. You fill your bowl with what you want, add spices or sauces or whatever you want. Then you bring it to a very large hot plate and they cook it in front of you. Because everything is very small, it cooks very quickly. You then go to your table and eat it. when you are finished you can go up and do it all again. It's a kind of eat as much as you want place. The trick is to overfill your bowl, as things shrink when they cook. I've often been in there. It is great, and different. Try it.
