Tipperary Mountain Bikers Forum

Does anyone here have some connection with the above? I was given the link as a source of info on MTB trails in and around South Tipp, Kilkenny, Waterford. I went through the registration process but have received no confirmation e-mail so I can't post there.

Any info on these trails would be appreciated.

Here's some trail information for the mid-west, though it needs an update.

There's a good loop in the Knockmealdowns from Clogheen, Tickincor outside Clonmel is also worth a visit.

I've sent you a pm about account activation.

Trail information is very light on the site at the moment due to Coillte locating trails from reading the forum and then destroying those trails.

A meeting with Coillte has resulted in them explicitly saying that nowhere in the Clonmel, Slievenamon area is designated for cycling use, whether it be trails or even forestry roads. They may designate an area near Cahir for Cycing use (where the recent downhill competitions were held) in the near future.

Most trail information is passed via pm at the moment.
