Best Blur album

which in your view is the best album by Blur.

Leisure, Modern Life Is Rubbbish, Parklife, The Great Escape, Blur, 13 or Think Tank

For me it has to be 13, an album full of inspiration and musical genius. Not their most poppy or most single-heavy album. The smashing guitar solos on Bugman, Mellow Song, Trimm Trabb and Caramel do it for me, not to mention albarn's lyrical genius on songs such as Tender, No Distance Left To Run and Caramel.

Modern Life - not a bad track on it, and the pretty much the cornerstone of the entire Britpop movement.

I would have to say Thirteen or Parklife. Too close to call

Modern Life Is Rubbish is a good album, Resigned is a track I love to recently, the brillant lyrics and the harmonica blending with the melodic guitar solo, simply wonderful.

13 will always hit the spot for me tho as an album

It's between Modern Life and Parklife for me. There are a couple songs on Modern Life I don't particularly like, whereas I like everything on Parklife - but the good ones on Modern Life are so good I'd usually put that one on first anyway.

Parklife is a pretty strong album but in hindsight a bit too "light" for me (some really top class guitar work on it, not so much solos but chords and tones..), but I prefer the more indie/alt rock ones. Think Thank is great, I really like it. I also like Blur and 13.

Saw them in 99 only having heard Parklife, so was humming and hawing. Great gig, and their stuff off the albums I mentioned above was great live...

Is Graham Coxon an under rated guitarist??

The last one, Think Tank. I love it, even the hidden track that you have to rewind back to at the start!

The Great Escape does it for me. Stereotypes is brilliant, who would hae thought a rock tune about wife swapping could work?

Only Kidding - Parklife, Modern Life is Rubbish and then Blur
Tink Tank is very underrated.

This album is an under-rated gem.
