large differences. Perhaps fewer differences than a year ago as far as the interface goes - because IE has ripped off the Tabbed browsing feature of other programs, like Firefox. As well as a few other intelligent features.

Also it doesnt make 50 annoying clicking noises everytime you change webpages. But the #1 reason why I switched... Last edited by Overheal; 04-08-2009 at 17:05. |

Anyone experience similar problem to me?... Sometimes if I go on a page with a text field, take facebook for example, the text is a bit squashed, or the font is a bit big, but basically a chunk of the font is cut off (in the facebook chat app it's especially bad). Only happens sometimes..

its not like one sits on top of the other, so all you need to do is run IE or FF from your desktop depending on which you prefer.
Pog as for addons my favorites are forecastbar-enhanced, adblock plus, and download statusbar. |

Tried to pay my TV License online earlier this year via their website.. I was using a Mac and was left outta luck, as they only allowed you to use Internet Explorer.. it'd refuse it to go any further using any other browser. EDIT: See thread here! |

It's current release (3.5) is unstable, for most users it takes up to 3 and 4 minutes to open which is very annoying, I find I have Google Chrome opened and am browsing away for ages before I realise FF has finally opened in the background, and I cannot stand Google Chrome.
Mozilla have acknowledged the problem and are working on an update to fix it. They maintain that if you clear temp files and browsing history it temporarily fixes the problem, but this negates the whole point of Firefox's best feature - the ease of accessing anything in your browsing history from the address bar. Even if all you remember from a page you were on weeks ago is a word or phrase, typing it into the menu bar brings it up. But yeah, once that's fixed, along with the bug that freezes keyboard input for a few seconds whenever you receive a facebook IM, Firefox all the way. Here's a video outlining why http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g30Xyh6Wqc |
