Dublin to Cork, lunch on way

I'm driving down to Cork tomorrow from Dublin with my 12 year old. Any suggestions on somewhere to stop along the way and have a not too expensive bit of lunch?

The journey is so short now that people are not inclined to go off the motorway. One plce that's handy is the hotel in Abbeyleix. I know it's too late for you now but next time.

Depends on what time you leave Dublin also but Abbeyleix is near halfway. Another place is Durrow.
