There hasn't been any fossil hominds recovered in Ireland. Any animal or plant fossils in Ireland would be far younger then the oldest human occupation of Ieland. Their has however been at least three incidences of human bone recovered from the Mesolithic sites. The cremation from the Hermitage, Limerick were dated to the early Mesolithic 7500-7000BC. So they are almost certainly the oldest human remains so far recovered.
