Your own best darts moment!

My best moment in darts happened just last week against my mate when I hit 7 perfect darts in my attempt to hit a 9 darter! Sadly finished on 19 darts!

What is your personal favourite moment in darts?

Winning the league doubles with my dad when we had a league up here!! Even more special since he passed on in 2000

He said it was his proudest moment ever too

Sad to hear Daniel. I'm happy you and your Dad shared a great darts moment. Total respect mate and I mean that.

Hard to call this one. I have enjoyed so many moments playing darts over the years that it will be hard to think of one because I love playing darts.
Was it winning our first league or then winning five in a row? Hitting my first 170 check out? hitting d1 when I needed to?

Two moments come to mind playing recently: at home and looking over and seeing my eldest lad (4) throwing beside me on a board I put up for him about 3 foot high; coming back recently after a bad night in the league with our team being 6 -1 down (first to 8) against the only team that we honestly would hate to lose against and I hit the winning double for us to win 8 -7 on the night. Cue the celebrations!!

I could revist this thread tomorrow and post so many different moments as I really do enjoy playing darts that much. Win or Lose, Once you play well you will always have great moments.

Actually I prefer when me mates and me Da and brother are playing killers, best laugh ever, me Da is always first out after the slagging he gives us followed by my mate who is a Man Utd fan.

I was actually first out tonight for a change as I just felt like slagging everyone as I thought I'd win easy again!

ye that's the other side of playing darts. Have good fun playing shanghi with friends and family and not taking it to serioulsy.

I was in a pub last monday and they were playing darts, single game of 501 doubles. No real dart players there just pensioners and one woman all out in a small village pub having fun.
One game, throw for the bull to start, both player missed the bull but could not decide who was closest. Throw again. The woman hit the bull, cue the cheers. The other thrower said no point throwing, they can go first, cue the slagging. He threw a dart..where did it land...the bull..cue the cheering again.
Another great momentin darts and I was not even playing.

Darts is about fun and is really a great game that people can enjoy themeselves and play.

Also sorry to hear Red, you could never in a million years get a set of personalised darts that so meaningful.
