UCD language programme?

I hear UCD have this programme that, depending if the degree is eligible, you could do a language/languages with it. I already speak great german, but i want to do arabic and french. I didn't do french for my leaving cert, but i can speak a good bit of it. could someone please help me make sense of this? the UCD website is quite vague on details regarding what degrees you can do them with, and whether they would be accredited to your future degree.
