meeting new people in dublin?

Not looking for lifelong friends (though if that happened it'd be great), but just people around my age (19) to go socialising with.....have the craic with etc...it's so hard to meet people in Dublin and it's a shame cause I love going out in the city but i dont know anybody around here. Anyone got any ideas? Would just love to go out on a Saturday night with a bunch of my mates my own age and dance my feet off and have some fun. I've just moved over to dublin from london and none of my friends live over here so i have to make some new ones i didnt know it was so hard to find people to go out in town with has anyone got any ideas?
thanks.

Outside the GPO every Saturday Night a gathering takes place to head to one of the city nightclubs. 9.30pm Sharp outside GPO, O'Connell Street.

Good luck

Try meetup.com, there are a good few Dublin groups on there.

Always plenty of boards meet ups, keep an eye out as they are ususally great craic, with a gret mix of people at them. The After hours forum has a meet on the 20th if you're interested.
