what an 'arts degree' in german

hey gang sorry for throwing this thread up here but i dunno of any german dictionary that would have this in it

Not really my field of expertise, but I don't think that there is a direct equivalent. You usually specify the exact subject(s) that you have a degree in.

There would be the somewhat old fashioned classifcation of "Naturwissenschaften" v "Geisteswissenschaften" v "schoene Kuenste" but you can't really have a degree in either, as they are just groupings.

But lately a lot of degrees have been anglicised/internationalised ...so maybe things have changed ?
