SLANE 2009 Oasis - All Discussion - No ticket sales.

Hi dudes,

This probably isnt the right place to post this but I dont know where else to put it so give out if necessary but I'm dying to know what kind of drink is served inside Slane?? I'm not a beer drinker what-so-ever so dread places that only do 1 kind of booze or brand.. my fingers are crossed for wine!!

This is my first year going so thats why I've no clue whats sold up there.

Thanks!

My dad works for Heineken and has done Slane for the last 10 years.

Apparently this year it's Heineken, Coors, Murphys and Red/White wine

Oasis - Slane - sold out??

Sorry if this has already been asked, but had a bit of a look and couldn't find anything else!

Has Oasis at Slane sold out? Or is the ticketmaster website just being annoying today??

Thanks a million to anyone who can tell me!

And sorry everyone if this Q has been asked a million times!

Depends on the seller, most meet up as its safer/easier, but some will post the tickets out to you if you pay by Paypal/Bank transfer.

Is there anyone real bus back from Slane to the city centre? I don't really want to pay that ripp of fee to Dublin bus for a return ticket

First time at Slane

What time would you be wanting to get to the grounds at? Is it really a 7km hike to the stage?

I wouldn't say it's 7k but it's a fairly long walk, maybe more like 2k.

If you need accomodation, you could get a place in Dublin then get the shuttle bus that goes to Slane on the day.
