That would suggest he has an awful lot more going for him then what you have said above.
Never in a million years would I have thought they would vote for someone like him. He must be doing a lot right to have secured their vote.

Same as that. My Dad is in his late 50's and was a staunch FF'er all his life. He was good friends with the late Sean Doherty and used to go canvassing with him. But over the last few years he has lost all interest in FF and said he will be voting for Ming this time out. He has heard him speak several times and has been really impressed by him.

Eh, it obviously is IRRELEVANT to the majority of locals. Who the hell has already elected him and will more then likely re-elect him? If it was an issue he would not have got any votes first time out.
That's a bloody stupid statement. Utterly ridiculous moronic drivel. Would a Martian go down a treat? Would a bloody hedgehog go down a treat
IF one stood for election?
Has an openly gay politican actually ran for election in Roscommon. (Or nationally for that matter?) Until it happens how the hell do you know how it will go down in Roscommon?

Indeed because when urban "folk" do call them that they are usually talking out of their arse and about things they have absolutely no idea of. A bit like your post has just proved.
