To be honest I don't have a problem with marijuana in itself and I do not know what the outcome of the recent cases would have been if marijuana had not been found on the persons involved . They were charged with GBH Drunk & Disorderly & possession so I'll have to cap my speculation as to what the Judge would have handed out .

My point... Ming has left a track record .... We were all young , I am still comparitivly young ... we do things ... Ming has done his thing now he still wants into a climate where things are a little different . I do not wish Ming going into power for the sole reason and it's just my opinion that he just wants into a job where he has little to offer the main stream public in the area that I have a vote. So I posed the question ..Do we Need Ming..

If more than two or three people convince me "we do need Ming" Hey I just might vote for him ...

I'd happily vote for Ming, maybe if we had more people like him to question the establishment the country wouldn't be in the mess its in today

heard him making a very strong argument for the turf cutters on the radio two months ago. Sure add that one to the list.

He made the same argument again this week on the Matt Cooper show while the rest of the candidates were bickering and arguing over the usual drivel.

Ming did and is still doing alot for castlerea. hes been workin round the clock tring to get castlerea swimming pool to become an all year round facility. he set up a Castlerea/Ballinlough kayaking club (which my mam is a member btw, and me after i get stupid junior cert over). he organises a seven-a-side soccer league employing FAI accredited refs. he set up a snooker club for the last 5 years. he is looking into setting up a cinema in Trinity Atrs Centre when(/if:Z) its completed.
and thats all just recreational stuff. He also has been trying to get big name retailers like tesco to come to Castlerea which would employ many people out of work. he got a total of 1326 people to sign a petition to get tesco to come to the town (i signed as i wasnt too young!). it was thanks to luke that lidl came to the town as he organised a petition then also.

But i think the main reason why you should vot for ming is because he is fully commited to the job and is the only candidate willing to work full-time. which means that he wont be just scrambling to get council work out of the way. whats more he is doing it for less than anyone else. if re-elected he will continue to take an imposed cut of €2400 in expenses.

My 70 year old, extremely conservative parents will be voting for him.
That would suggest he has an awful lot more going for him then what you have said above.
Never in a million years would I have thought they would vote for someone like him. He must be doing a lot right to have secured their vote.

Good Post for a young person and I value and take on board your opinion . I read about some of his achievements on the handout pamphlet in his campaign for Castlerea but I'm still not yet convinced he is my man for the job. Just out of interest , are you happy with your broadband connection ? I pay for 7.5 but would be lucky to 5 on Ethernet cable and the rest of the house a staggering 1.5 from WiFi Air Base . Ming has not mentioned anything and comes across to me as a happy text-er .

Without knowing your parents so I'm guessing , back there when Ming was first elected your parents were a little younger and conservatively more hip and no doubt got wind of the medicinal value on certain resins which could be inhaled for the relief of oncoming Reumatic pain as well as the fact it is a good night in with a bong . Now remember I am guessing as to why your parents ticked Ming's box . Would they in your opinion benefit from what Ming has to offer this time around ?.
